Catering containers — from a takeaway kiosk to a full-service venue

A catering container opens a venue in places where you could never put up a building: at the seaside for the season, on a festival route, in a shopping centre car park, in the city centre on a short-term lease. Once the season is over, you move the unit to wherever the footfall is greater.

Two formats, three models

  • Mini — a 20ft container. The L15 Takeaway in the standard version, designed for serving ice cream, coffee, snacks and fast food through a window. The L15XL Gastro, widened to 3 m, gives you more room behind the counter.
  • Normal — the L30 Takeaway, based on a 40ft container. Enough space to lay out work stations, catering equipment and a customer service area. It works well as an ice cream parlour, a café or a snack outlet.

Mobility as a business model

A brick-built venue ties you to one location for years. A container can be relocated — from a seaside resort to a city square, from a festival to an office car park. That changes the risk calculation when you enter a new location: you test the spot over a season rather than over the term of a lease.

Converted for your menu

The layout of equipment, water points, ventilation and the service flow all depend on what you serve — an ice cream parlour is designed differently from a burger outlet. Tell us about your menu and we will adapt the floor plan.
